The Ideas!Rich Innovation Funding Programme is seeking applications to support businesses in Austria to develop and implement innovative digital and sustainable ideas.
The focus areas, of this programme include innovation promotion, development of intelligent and meaningful ideas, fostering new thinking, support for digital and sustainable products, prototype development, business model innovation, product and service innovation, creative industry integration, industrial design, gamification, extended reality, feasibility studies, patent research, EU project proposals, and support for market-ready solutions.
The programme is designed to help transform early-stage entrepreneurial ideas into market-ready products through structured funding and expert support. It encourages businesses to actively shape future developments by investing in innovation and creative solutions.
Funding is available for different modules, including “Ideas!Reich XS” and other innovation support streams. The XS module supports small innovation projects such as prototypes, business model development, certification for new industries, and innovation-related academic or technical work. It offers up to 70 percent funding for eligible costs up to €20,000, with a maximum grant of €14,000.
The modular “Ideas!Kingdom XS” funding supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, including production, craft, and business service companies, but excludes large companies. It supports prototypes, demonstration facilities, beta versions, and market-ready products or services. Eligible costs include personnel, materials, and external consulting services, with funding covering up to 50 percent of project costs, up to €75,000, for projects with a maximum duration of 12 months.
