The ResilMesh initiative aims to equip organizations with the capabilities needed for real-time defense of essential business functions in an era marked by dispersed, heterogeneous cyber systems.
ResilMesh is an Innovation Action project funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe framework, dedicated to revolutionizing cybersecurity practices. At its core, ResilMesh endeavors to develop a cutting-edge security orchestration and analytics toolset grounded in cyber situational awareness (CSA).
Sprint 1
- Starting in January 2025, Sprint 1 has a duration of 3 months. The completion of the onboarding phase is desirable as delays will impact but not prevent the success of the project, and the possibility of releasing funds to the beneficiary in the expected timeframes.
- The project must complete the work defined in the work plan provided in the Proposal Supplement, and refined during the onboarding phase for this period.
- The goals of Sprint 1 are:
- Complete the technical integration with the Resilmesh release 1.
- In cases where approval from Ethical Committee is required for the completion of the project, submit the research protocol. This may depend on your country-specific laws.
- The sprint is finalised by submitting a technical report for evaluation, Deliverable 1 (D1)
Sprint 2
- Sprint 2 starts after the completion of Sprint 1 and also has a duration of 3 months. The project must complete the work defined in the work plan provided in the Proposal Supplement and updated in D1, for this period as well as address comments from the reviewers.
- During this sprint, the beneficiaries must:
- Meet with the assigned mentor, with the agreed periodicity;
- May need to attend one physical event within Europe to assess technical progress and/or showcase project results.
- The goals of Sprint 2 are:
- Integration with release 2 of Resilmesh platform;
- Validation of data sets used for solutions training;
- Agreement on a IP and licensing model.
- The specific goals of Sprint 2 should be defined by the Beneficiary in the implementation section of the proposal and on D1.
- The sprint is finalized by submitting a technical report for evaluation, Deliverable 2 (D2)
Sprint 3
- Sprint 3 starts after completion of Sprint 2 and also has a duration of 3 months. The project must complete the work defined in the work plan provided in the Proposal Supplement and any updates included in D2 for this period as well as address comments from the reviewers.
- During this sub-phase, the applicant must:
- Meet with the assigned mentor, with the agreed periodicity;
- May need to attend one physical event within Europe to assess technical progress and/or showcase project results.
- The goals of Sprint 3 are:
- Full validation of the product — this means that by the end of Sprint 3 the validation of the proposed solution is accomplished and that they journey in the Resilmesh programme is completed.
- Signature of IP documents and licensing models.
- The specific goals of Sprint 3 should be defined by the beneficiary in the implementation section of the proposal.
- The sprint is finalized by submitting a technical report for evaluation, Deliverable 3 (D3)
Funding Information
- Total funding available: 360 000,00 €
- Expected duration of participation: Four projects will be selected to participate in the implementation phase, which consists of three sprints of three months in a total duration of nine months.
