- The industrial sector, with a focus on manufacturing (i.e. food processing, and non-food item manufacturing including construction material, clothes, cars, pharmaceuticals, etc.) and construction (e.g. plumbing businesses, carpenters, demolition businesses, scaffolding businesses, etc.).
- The service sector, with a focus on accommodation and food services activities (e.g. restaurants, hotels, event planning agencies, etc.) human health and social work activities (e.g. labs, pharmacies, etc.) transportation and storage (e.g. cold storage units, delivery businesses, etc.) wholesale and retail trade (e.g. e-commerce agencies, retail shops, etc.) and other private services (e.g. beauticians, travel agencies, computer/phone repair, house appliances repair, etc.).

Funding Information
- IOM Pakistan and its partners are looking to support small and medium-sized enterprises eager to expand and generate new employment opportunities with cash grants ranging between 500,000 PKR to 5,000,000 PKR.
Eligibility Criteria
- Your business is eligible for EDF grant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa if:
- You are employing 3 to 50 employees.
- You have been operational for at least 3 years.
- Ability to improve, expand and create new employment.
- Located in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mansehra or Mardan.
- Operating in Agriculture, Industrial or Service sectors.
- They encourage businesses owned or led by women and people with disabilities to apply.
