The Ministry of Culture’s institution “All Greece One Civilization” sets as its central thematic axis: “The reception of the past – Today as tomorrow and as yesterday and invites the country’s artistic community to confront the questions and challenges that the past poses to the present and future of art.
Focus Areas
- Proposals must combine at least two of the six areas:
- Music (all genres: classical, contemporary, traditional, etc.)
- Theater (all genres: prose, puppetry, shadow theater, etc.)
- Dance (all genres: classical, contemporary, etc.). Original music or an adaptation/paraphrase of existing music is required.
- Musical Theatre (Original music required)
- Visual Arts/performance (all genres: painting, sculpture, photography, etc.)
- Performances/activities for children and teenagers.
- In visual arts proposals, the exhibition may cover the entire program period, while the second required art will be presented up to two times.
Themes
- The central thematic axis of the program is: “The reception of the past – Today as tomorrow and as yesterday)”. In this context, the country’s artistic community is invited to confront the questions and challenges that the past poses to the present and the future of art. The past can be a source of inspiration or a burden, glorious or shameful, forgotten or constantly present.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Civil Non-Profit Companies.
- The institution must be registered in the Register of Cultural Institutions.
Evaluation Criteria
- Proposals should:
- They concern original creation, based on the thematic axis of conflict, with the aim of developing synergies and compositions of cultural heritage and contemporary creation.
- fall within the costing categories mentioned in the invitation (15,000, 30,000 and 60,000 euros), be sufficiently justified and necessarily include a detailed budget and a nominal reference to all factors for the entire production.
- include the technical specifications (sets, lights, sound, projections), transportation and accommodation services as well as communication between producers.
