Following the success of the Start’Act and Growth’Act programs, Wikistartup is proud to launch Afri’Act, an innovative initiative dedicated to supporting Tunisian SMEs in their expansion into African markets.
Funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by Expertise France, this program is part of the “Qawafel” project and aims to strengthen the presence of Tunisian companies in Senegal and Kenya.
Objectives
- The Afri’Act programme was designed in response to the “Reach Africa” initiative and focuses on three main objectives:
- Facilitating the internationalization of Tunisian SMEs in Africa: By providing resources and strategic support, Afri’Act helps companies navigate African markets and establish successful business relationships.
- Strengthening the capacities of SMEs: Through tailored technical expertise, businesses benefit from the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a new business environment.
- Developing local partnerships: By establishing collaborations with local partners, Afri’Act facilitates the entry of Tunisian SMEs into targeted markets, thus ensuring harmonious and sustainable integration.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is specifically aimed at SMEs that meet the following criteria:
- Have between 6 and 199 employees
- Be established for at least two years on the Tunisian market
- Have already exported or are considering doing so
- Operate in the para/pharmaceutical, agri-food or higher education sectors
