Startup Studio designed for teams looking to implement pilot projects, gain valuable data and insights in key market areas, and validate their 5-8 TRL, in the greater blue economy related applications only. Fresh water, ocean, SaaS, cybersecurity, logistics, alternative energy, hardware, and all others adjacent to the blue economy are encouraged to apply. All startups must be willing and able to travel to implement the pilot and attend IGNITE22 summit in San Pedro, CA.
Braid Theory focuses on industries and adjacencies in the Blue Economy, where they have been a long established leader and expert, with a proven track record of success with startups and scale-ups, and can provide exceptional value, domain expertise, and connections to industry.
Startups will work with a team of advisors and instructors on reaching milestones, to accelerate business growth, that puts teams on a path to commercialization, and work with partners to find a path forward for your solution, including the pilot project and partnership opportunities.
Access to their unique waterfront facility, located at the AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles campus, which includes access to the waterfront, test-beds and platforms for ocean observing and robotics, and a Coworking Space.
Package of services valued at over $1M, including use of waterfront space and instruments, legal services package, perks and program support.
