“Mobileheroes” Tech Contest

“Mobileheroes” is the longest-running tech contest in Taiwan, greatly supported by Taiwan’s government (Industrial Development Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs) and industry partners, such as chip makers, telecom operators, equipment vendors, system integrators, platform service providers, and angel investors/accelerators, etc. It is hosted within the framework of Mobileheroes 2024, scheduled to run from April to October 2024.

The Mobileheroes Global Awards finale will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, in Taipei, Taiwan.

Following a preliminary remote evaluation of Applications, the list of “Top 20 Startups” will be published shortly after the deadline of the submission. Then, followed by a virtual live pitch, Ten Finalists selected remotely by the jury members will be invited to pitch on stage at the Mobileheroes Global Awards finale in front of a jury panel. After the pitches, the Winners will be decided by the jury members and will be announced on the stage at the Award Ceremony. There will be investors, business executives, entrepreneurs, government officials, and the general public present.

Award Sort

• The Mobileheroes Global Awards offer prizes for the Winner, Finalists, and Top 20 startups. Prizes are subject to change at the discretion of the Organizer. Any changes to prizes will be updated on the website.
• Notwithstanding additional prizes or benefits provided from time to time by the Organizer’s third-party collaborators, the Organizer will provide the following prizes:
• Each of the 10 startup Finalists will receive the following:
  • Subsidy for accommodation and flight per person during the visit to Taiwan
  • One highlight article on Taiwan Tech Bang website featuring the 10 Finalists
  • Mention and acknowledgement on the Mobileheroes website and marketing channels
  • Organized corporate visits during the ceremony week
  • Free access to networking activities and international seminars during the ceremony week
  • Invitation to participate in a curated 3-day activity agenda including the Finale & Award Ceremony week, encounters with members of the press, and networking opportunities with investors and industry leaders
  • A digital trophy and additional marketing material to use on the company website and across marketing channels
  • Inclusion in the Mobileheroes Catalog
• Each of the Top 3 Winners will receive the following:
  • Cash Prize, by different awards (Mobileheroes Award: USD30,000; USD20,000; USD10,000)
  • One highlight article featuring the 3 Finalists distributed on an international platform

Criteria

• Registration as a company is not required. They welcome innovators from labs, self-owned studios, and individuals to apply.
• There is no limit to the number of people in your company for this competition.
• To participate in this competition, individuals must be at least 18 years of age or older.
