Deadline Date: August 14, 2026
The Capital Grant Program is inviting eligible private Registered Training Organisations to apply for funding to strengthen training infrastructure in Western Australia.
The program focuses on investment in training infrastructure, strengthening Western Australia’s construction workforce, supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy, housing supply, workforce growth, diversity, modern methods of construction, and improving access to training across regional Western Australia.
The 2026 grant pool has doubled to $10 million to support industry-led investment and help build the future construction workforce in Western Australia.
Grant funding is available for private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), with applications assessed based on demonstrated need and alignment with the program’s grant priorities.
Eligible applicants must be registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) or the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) in Western Australia. Applicants must also be in good standing with the relevant regulator, demonstrate financial need, show that the proposed project supports the objectives of the Capital Grant Program, and meet the required financial, maintenance, insurance, planning, and land ownership or lease requirements.
Projects must be financially viable and should not negatively affect places protected under Commonwealth, State, or local government heritage legislation.
The program does not support projects where construction or installation has started before signing a funding agreement with the CTF. It also excludes funding for opportunity identification, concept screening, product development research, marketing concept development, feasibility studies, advertising, signage, land acquisition, staff salaries, security equipment, project management, certification and permit fees, compliance costs, vehicle and transport costs, contingency costs, in-kind contributions, and ongoing operational expenses.
