The Public Diplomacy Section (PDS), U.S. Embassy Bridgetown, of the U.S. Department of State has announced an open competition for eligible organizations or individuals to submit applications to carry out a program to implement the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program in 2025 in one or more of the countries listed; Grenada and St. Kitts and Nevis.
Objectives
- Provide resources for women to engage in U.S.-style online education with guided facilitation and localization from ECA exchange program alumni, local women business leaders, or other local partners.
- Foster networks that support participants’ access to peer-to-peer mentorship, business partners, and scaling opportunities with businesses in the region and in the United States.
Funding Information
- Award amounts: single country awards may range from a minimum of $10,000.00 to a maximum of $17,500.00 or one country may be awarded the full $35,000.00
- Number of awards anticipated: 2 awards (dependent on amounts)
- Length of performance period: April 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026.
Geographical Focus
- Grenada, and St. Kitts and Nevis. PDS Bridgetown is seeking applicants to implement this program in the countries listed. Proposals must specify the country where a potential grantee will work.
