The Recruitment for the first cohort of REDpreneur Women is open – a program to support female veterans through business development and social innovations in Ukraine.
The focus areas of this opportunity are supporting female veterans through business development and social innovations in Ukraine, developing their own business or starting a social business, business training which combines the theory and practice of doing business, trainings on developing entrepreneurial skills, mentoring support from experienced entrepreneurs and experts, inspirational sessions, an online academy with access to modern educational materials, networking opportunities, and grant funding of 7,000 euros to develop or start your own business.
Recruitment has begun for the first cohort of the REDpreneur Women programme, which aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of women veterans who are no longer in active military service. The initiative supports participants aged 18 and above who wish to establish or expand their own business, offering a structured pathway for economic reintegration through entrepreneurship.
The programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, with the support of the Austrian Neighbor in Need Foundation and the Austrian Development Agency. Training and mentoring components are delivered in partnership with Ukrainian Future within the international REDpreneur franchise.
Participants will undergo three months of online training followed by an offline defence of their business plans in Kyiv. A total of 25 participants will attend classes twice a week, working on business plans, financial models and presentation skills. After the training phase and presentation before the jury, 17 participants will be selected to receive grant funding and continued support for implementing their business ideas.
The programme offers comprehensive learning and development opportunities that combine theoretical knowledge with practical business planning. Participants gain access to mentorship, peer networking, motivational sessions and an online learning environment designed to support long-term entrepreneurial success.
