The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) FinTech Excellence Awards 2026, organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) with the support of PwC, are now accepting submissions to recognise outstanding contributions to the global financial technology ecosystem.
The awards focus on recognising excellence across Emerging FinTech, Financial Inclusivity, Regulatory Leadership, Sustainable Innovation, AI-driven innovation through the AI Champion category, and mentorship within the Singapore FinTech ecosystem through the FinTech Mentor Award.
The FinTech Excellence Awards 2026 celebrate organisations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of financial technology. The awards highlight innovative solutions that have strengthened the FinTech ecosystem and acknowledge achievements that have helped drive the industry’s growth on the global stage.
The Emerging FinTech Award is open to FinTech companies incorporated within the past three years that have implemented or deployed a FinTech solution anywhere in the world. The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry, and it is not required to be a regulated entity in Singapore. The winner of this category will receive a cash prize of S$50,000.
The Financial Inclusivity Award recognises companies that have implemented or deployed solutions aimed at promoting financial inclusion and improving access to financial services, such as microinsurance and peer-to-peer lending. Eligible companies must have a finance-related core business and are not required to be regulated entities in Singapore. The first-place winner will receive S$50,000.
The Regulatory Leader Award is intended for companies that have developed and implemented innovative solutions supporting regulatory compliance and governance. Applicants must operate within the finance industry, while regulation in Singapore is not a requirement. The winning organisation will receive S$50,000.
The Sustainable Innovator Award honours companies that have implemented or deployed ESG solutions adopted by corporates. Eligible applicants must have a core business related to the finance industry, and Singapore regulatory status is not mandatory. The winner will receive S$50,000.
The Thematic – AI Champion Award recognises AI solutions that have been deployed or implemented by corporates. The first-place winner in this category will receive a prize of S$50,000.
The Individual Awards include the FinTech Mentor Award, which recognises mentors who have contributed to the Singapore FinTech ecosystem. Mentors may be nominated by individuals from the same organisation or from a different company. Three winners will be selected, with each recipient receiving S$5,000.
The organisers also invite organisations interested in sponsoring the FinTech Excellence Awards. Sponsors will benefit from enhanced brand visibility among industry leaders and key decision-makers, opportunities to position their organisation as a supporter of financial technology innovation, and access to networking and branding opportunities. Sponsorship tiers are available to suit different organisational goals and budgets.
Applications are welcomed from FinTech companies, financial institutions, and technology companies whose initiatives have made significant contributions to the FinTech ecosystem.
