Fit 4 Start provides entrepreneurs with intensive coaching and mentoring, attractive equity-free funding and access to key networks that help them succeed with launching their business venture and scaling it on the European market.
The startup accelerator targets digital/data-driven venture with innovative technologies at the core of their business: the internet of things, blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, cyber, telecom, open-source technology and/or emerging technologies. Dedicated tracks offer places to:
- healthtech startups active in fields such as digital therapeutics, digital diagnostics, digital care, medical devices and in vitro diagnostics
- space startups active in fields such as Telecom, Earth Observation, Navigation, Space Safety, Applications using space-borne data and space infrastructures for the benefit of other sectors
Overall, they are looking for innovative and sustainable ventures whose business integrates dimensions related to one or several of the three main pillars of sustainability, namely people, planet and prosperity. The 14th edition of the programme will provide the right tools and support to maximise the startups chances for commercial success in and out of Luxembourg.

Eligibility Criteria
- The programme is open to innovative projects or young innovative startups from around the world that meet all the following criteria:
- There is no prerequisite for applicants to have incorporated a company at the application stage.
- If the applicant already incorporated a company, it should be no older than 5 years at the opening date of the Fit 4 Start call concerned – for non-autonomous entities the assessment is performed at group level.
- If the applicant already incorporated a company, it must meet the small enterprise criteria.
- The applicant team must be composed of a minimum of two people, with at least one person working full time on the realisation of the project, attending all sessions during the coaching phase of the programme and being responsible for developing the startup’s Luxembourg substance and operations.
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older as of the starting date of the programme.
- The applicant may be any early-stage and/or more advanced startup/project. Although it is not necessary to have a minimum viable product (MVP) at the application stage, for the healthtech domain, products or services in preclinical proof of concept or MVP will be preferred.
