If you are a Hungarian startup and would like to establish yourself in foreign markets, then this opportunity is for you! The Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce has launched its “Fit for Poland II.” Startup Accelerator Program.
Participation in the program includes two in-person and two online training sessions. The Hungarian training will be held in Budapest, the Polish training in Katowice, and the online sessions will be held in the form of a webinar during September-October. They will organize a networking event after the in-person training sessions, where you will have the opportunity to apply the theory of the training in practice.
The Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce’s “Fit for Poland II.” Startup Accelerator Program is not just a training opportunity. Their goal is to support the startup community’s entry into the international market by better understanding the Polish foreign market. Participants can gain tools, contacts and knowledge that will contribute to their future success in the Polish business environment in the long term.
Aims
- The project aims to provide startups with comprehensive guidance and opportunities for successful entry into the Polish market. Participants will gain comprehensive market knowledge, which is essential for expansion and success in foreign markets. They also create opportunities to network with managers and decision-makers of companies operating in Poland.
Focus Areas
- The program focuses on three main areas:
- Polish innovation ecosystem,
- Presentation of a case study of a real expansion in Poland,
- Negotiation techniques and business culture.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be successfully admitted to the program, startups must meet certain conditions. Applications are possible under the following conditions:
- Individual entrepreneur or company registered in Hungary and having an innovative business idea.
- Startup with an innovative idea.
- Submission of an application within the deadline, which includes the completed questionnaire and a max. 5-minute introductory video recording in English. When applying, strive to make the purpose of the innovative idea as easy as possible for the evaluation committee to understand.
- Answering the mandatory questions in the questionnaire below and explaining the answers.
- Active participation of the companies admitted to the program, covering the costs of travel and accommodation to the locations in Budapest and Katowice.
- Given the international nature of the program, knowledge of English is a prerequisite for participation.
