The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes of the program are business scaling, customer understanding, funding strategies, growth marketing, technology adoption including artificial intelligence, sales and revenue growth, pitching and storytelling, mentorship, and strengthening entrepreneurial networks.
The program provides founders with guidance through virtual live sessions with industry leaders, expert advice from business leaders and entrepreneurs, and personalised mentorship to support business growth.
Participants gain access to resources and knowledge to establish banking relationships, connect with a community of entrepreneurs, increase visibility within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and receive continued support after completing the program.
The program curriculum includes sessions covering program orientation and founder discussions, accessing capital and effective funding strategies for growth, marketing and branding strategies, using technology to grow businesses including AI, negotiation and scaling sales and revenue models, and the art of pitching and storytelling.
To qualify, founders must be at least 18 years old, have a business registered in the United States for at least one year, operate within the United States or Washington, D.C., and hold majority ownership of an established business with traction.
Applicants must have a technology component incorporated into their business, such as a website or mobile application, generate a minimum of $50,000 in annual business revenue, be located within 100 miles of the metropolitan statistical area region of BREAKTHROUGH, and be willing to support the “Lift While We Climb Commitment.”
Selected founders receive opportunities to strengthen their businesses through mentorship, learning sessions, peer collaboration, increased recognition, and ongoing entrepreneurial support.
