The Vinnova is inviting grant applications to support innovation partnerships between startups and need owners in Sweden to advance sustainable road transport.
The focus areas, of this programme include innovation collaboration between startups and need owners, increased commercialization for startups, strengthened innovative capacity for need owners, sustainable transition of road transport, strengthened Swedish competitiveness, validation projects, implementation projects, and increased innovation partnerships within the FFI programme.
The programme, part of the Fordonsstrategisk Forskning och Innovation (FFI) initiative, aims to build goal-oriented and mutually beneficial partnerships between knowledge-intensive startups and established need owners with defined innovation needs. It focuses on supporting projects that contribute to sustainable mobility and industrial innovation.
Applicants can apply for two types of projects: validation projects and implementation projects. Funding is available up to SEK 500,000 for validation projects and up to SEK 750,000 for implementation projects, with a requirement of at least 25 percent co-financing at the project level. The total budget for the call is SEK 22 million.
Eligible applicants include collaborative projects between knowledge-intensive startups, whether Swedish or international, and established need owners, where only the startup can act as the beneficiary of the funding.
