The Naaripreneur for Her Program Cohort 2 is a nationwide incubation initiative by IIMV FIELD designed to support and scale women-led ventures and solutions focused on women’s empowerment across India.
The Focus areas, include women entrepreneurship, gender equality, economic empowerment of women, venture incubation, startup scaling, ideation and validation, business model development, marketing, operations, finance, team and performance management, storytelling, AI adoption, fundraising, mentorship, and social impact across sectors such as health, safety, education, financial independence, and livelihood creation.
The program is a CSR initiative supported by NBCC India Ltd. and implemented through the Incubation and Startup Hub of IIM Visakhapatnam, known as IIMV FIELD. It aims to create an enabling ecosystem where women-led and women-focused ventures can grow and scale effectively.
The program is structured in three phases. The first phase involves a nationwide call for applications where entrepreneurs can apply with either an idea or an existing venture, provided they meet eligibility criteria.
The second phase focuses on pre-incubation, where up to 75 shortlisted applicants participate in structured online learning sessions. These sessions cover key areas such as ideation techniques, opportunity identification, lean canvas development, marketing, operations, finance, and organizational management, helping participants build scalable and sustainable business models.
After this phase, participants are required to submit a business plan and pitch video for evaluation. Based on this, up to 25 startups are selected to move to the incubation stage.
The third phase provides intensive incubation support for up to 25 startups over 11 months. This includes mentorship from faculty, industry experts, and access to the IIMV FIELD ecosystem, infrastructure, and alumni network. It also includes a bootcamp focused on AI adoption and fundraising.
The program concludes with a graduation ceremony, where the top five startups receive performance-based grants of up to ₹5 lakhs in total.
For eligibility, applicants must be at least 18 years old, and ventures can be women-led or focused on solutions for women. Startups may operate from anywhere in India, and at least one core team member must be committed full-time. Previous Cohort 1 graduates are not eligible for Cohort 2.
