IHFC, IIT Delhi in partnership with Parachute Kalpavriksha (Industry Partner) and IIT Ropar-Technology and Innovation Foundation (iHub-AWaDH) invites applications for KrishiTech Synapse 2026—a platform to accelerate deep-tech innovations in agriculture from lab to real-world deployment.
The focus areas include pre-sowing and cultivation, farm operations and mechanization, harvest and post-harvest management, waste management, and value chain integration with sustainability.
KrishiTech Synapse 2026 is launched by IHFC, IIT Delhi in partnership with Parachute Kalpavriksha as the industry partner and IIT Ropar-Technology and Innovation Foundation (iHub-AWaDH). The programme aims to support the development and scaling of impactful agricultural technologies by connecting research with practical implementation.
The platform seeks innovative solutions that can address key challenges across the agricultural lifecycle, from early-stage cultivation processes to post-harvest management and sustainable value chain integration. It focuses on enabling technologies that can be deployed effectively in real-world agricultural settings.
Eligible applicants include academic and research institutions, agri-tech companies, startups, innovators, and industry-academia consortia. This broad eligibility encourages collaboration between different stakeholders to drive innovation in agriculture.
The programme offers significant funding support, providing up to ₹2 crore for individual projects and up to ₹5 crore for consortium-based projects. This funding is intended to help advance promising solutions toward deployment and scale.
Shortlisted teams will be invited to present their prototypes in person before an expert panel. Participants will also gain access to a Lab-to-Market workshop, mentorship opportunities, and a wider ecosystem designed to support the growth and scaling of their innovations.
KrishiTech Synapse 2026 aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and field application, fostering the development of technologies that can enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
