Deadline Date: May 17, 2026
The Leo is an accelerator programme for space ventures aimed at strengthening business readiness and supporting the transition from validation to commercial growth.
The focus areas include space entrepreneurship, business model development, commercialisation support, product validation, market readiness, venture scaling, mentorship, pitch development, investor readiness, and ecosystem networking within the UK space sector.
The Leo programme is a four-month accelerator designed for space ventures that have already validated their solutions and are at the proof-of-concept stage or beyond. It supports founders in refining their business models, engaging customers, and preparing for sustainable growth.
The programme helps participants refine and scale their businesses by providing expert mentorship, pitch coaching, and business development guidance. It focuses on strengthening value propositions and accelerating venture growth through structured support and strategic input.
Participants gain access to a wide network of industry experts in areas such as finance, legal, intellectual property, export, and marketing. The programme also connects founders with a vibrant alumni network that continues to provide support beyond the programme duration.
Leo also enables ventures to validate and prepare for market entry through real-world product simulation support and export readiness guidance. These activities are designed to build confidence and ensure measurable progress toward commercialisation.
The programme includes multiple structured components such as a two-day bootcamp, business growth coaching sessions, pitch development workshops, and curated learning pathways. These elements are designed to strengthen entrepreneurial skills and improve communication of business value.
Participants also benefit from ongoing engagement with an expert mentorship panel and one-to-one coaching focused on overcoming challenges and maintaining venture momentum. The programme concludes with enhanced visibility and continued access to an alumni community.
To be eligible, ventures must be headquartered and operating in the United Kingdom and intending to operate within the UK space sector. They should be at validation or proof-of-concept stage with a prototype or clear progress toward market validation.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong team, early traction such as customer discovery or pilots, and a clear problem-solution fit. They must also show intent to build a scalable venture and commit to active participation with measurable progress during the four-month programme.
