The Innovation Fund Denmark is requesting grant applications to support AI-assisted engineering projects aimed at improving software-defined vehicle.
The call focuses on significantly improving the efficiency of engineering software-defined vehicles through AI-assisted methods and tools for automating software and system development; addressing the growing complexity of electronic and cyber-physical systems; supporting engineers across design, development, verification, validation, and certification processes, particularly in safety-critical and regulated domains; strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in digital vehicle technologies; and accelerating the adoption of AI-powered engineering solutions across sectors.
Innovation Fund Denmark provides national co-funding for Danish participants in projects selected under this call. The maximum funding is €650,000 per project if multiple Danish partners are involved, and €650,000 per Danish partner. If the project coordinator is a Danish organisation, the maximum national funding increases to €1,300,000 per project while remaining €650,000 per Danish partner. The minimum funding per partner is €50,000. EU co-funding is not included in these national funding amounts, and maximum funding rates are determined according to Chips JU Country Specific Eligibility Rules.
Eligible applicants include Danish universities, companies, industry organisations, research and technology organisations, and all Danish organisations directly involved in the project activities.
