The IDEATE Ireland offers a platform for students and recent graduates to develop their business ideas, structured to strengthen both their practical skills and capacity for innovation.
Focus areas, include providing detailed feedback from VCs, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, granting access to the Ideate Ireland Alumni Network, offering complimentary hot desk space at The Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin and The Ormeau Baths in Belfast, providing complimentary access to Happy Scribe, and awarding the Ideate Ireland badge to display on a website.
The competition is designed to be a dynamic, challenging, and enriching experience where participants can advance their venture ideas, compete for cash prizes, or gain valuable learning to apply in their careers. Winners can receive €10,000, first runner-ups €7,000, and second runner-ups €3,000.
Eligibility is open to undergraduates, post-graduates, recent graduates within two years, and researchers from third-level institutes, universities, and research centers across the island of Ireland. Teams must be resident on the island of Ireland at the time of application and should be at the pre-investment stage, meaning they have not taken equity investment. IDEATE Ireland seeks individuals or teams with an innovative product, service, or technology that has global scalability to achieve international sales and create employment.
