Deadline Date: July 31, 2026
The Future of Health Grant is seeking applications to support the next generation of digital health innovators in Switzerland by providing equity-free funding and strategic guidance to transform bold ideas into breakthrough healthcare solutions.
The program focuses on digital health innovation, patient-centered care, concept ignition, proof of concept development, market validation, user validation and clinical trials, coaching, mentoring, CxO as a Service support, and equity-free grant funding across three development levels.
The program combines funding with hands-on guidance, giving founders access to a strong network of professional coaches, healthcare industry mentors, and paid specialists known as CxO as a Service, who complement startup teams with targeted expertise. Structured meetings, defined milestones, and continuous support ensure that each venture receives personalized assistance tailored to its development stage.
The grant is structured across three levels. Level 1, known as the “Ignition” grant, provides CHF 10,000 with no equity or interest, along with a three-month support program to help kickstart venture ideas, with five projects selected each year. Level 2, the “POC” grant, offers CHF 30,000 and a six-month program to support product development, prototyping, and proof of concept creation, with five startups awarded annually. Level 3, the “Validation” grant, provides CHF 50,000 and a twelve-month program to conduct user validation or clinical trials in collaboration with healthcare professionals, with three startups selected each year.
Overall, the Future of Health Grant offers up to CHF 90,000 in equity-free funding and expert support across the three levels. Startups are encouraged to apply for the level that best matches their maturity stage and may progress to higher levels over time.
Eligibility is open to startups or projects based in Switzerland, whether incorporated or not, that are active in digital health. Startups from outside Switzerland may also apply if their solutions are applicable to the Swiss healthcare system and they have a concrete plan to develop their business in Switzerland, such as through a pilot project or market entry strategy.
