Deadline Date: April 17, 2026
The Aerospace Open Innovation Challenge is requesting applications to enable startups and SMEs to create transformative solutions that strengthen the aerospace and space industries.
The focus areas and priorities of the challenge include digitalisation, productivity, sustainability, and opportunities and incentives.
Building on the success of its previous edition, AOIC 2026 encourages innovators to drive transformation through automation and digitalisation, develop next-generation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) or manufacturing processes that are smarter, faster, and safer, and advance future technologies through developments in emerging and sustainable tech.
Organised by Enterprise Singapore in collaboration with leading aerospace corporates, the program provides a platform for startups and SMEs to test, pilot, and scale their solutions for validated industry use cases. Participants will gain access to cutting-edge facilities, build partnerships with key industry leaders, and have the opportunity to secure funding support for co-development and pilots, with a total of up to $400,000 in funding available.
Winning innovators will have the chance to partner with industry leaders, receive mentorship and co-development opportunities, and access prototyping and proof-of-concept funding support, helping them accelerate their solutions toward market readiness.
Together, AOIC 2026 aims to shape a greener, smarter, and more resilient future for the aerospace and space sectors.
