The Ministry of ICT and National Guidance is inviting Uganda’s brightest innovators, developers, and entrepreneurs to apply for a 5-day Accelerator Program designed to support product refinement, market readiness, and growth.
The program focuses on smart agriculture, digital tourism, light manufacturing and industrial efficiency, and ICT for development.
This initiative welcomes applications from individual innovators, startup teams, university groups, developer communities, and early-stage enterprises who are developing solutions within these priority sectors. Selected participants will join an intensive 5-day Accelerator and Advanced Hackathon where their prototypes will be refined with guidance from sector leaders, mentors, and potential investors. Participants will have the chance to transform their innovative ideas into market-ready solutions, gain access to industry expertise, secure pilot opportunities, and attract investment for scaling their solutions.
The program emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and practical solutions that address critical economic sectors in Uganda. Whether working solo or in teams, participants will engage in focused mentorship sessions, workshops, and hands-on development to sharpen their products and prepare them for real-world impact. The Accelerator seeks to nurture a vibrant ecosystem of innovation that drives sustainable growth across multiple sectors of the Ugandan economy.
