The nine-month programme is designed to help UK technology SMEs and industry adopters work together to address real-world challenges related to digital twin adoption.
Successful projects will receive up to £100,000 in Innovate UK grant funding, along with technical expertise, mentoring, and access to specialist facilities to support the development and deployment of their solutions.
During the programme, participants will receive expert technical support from Digital Catapult’s innovation and technology teams, access to real-world environments for testing and validating proof-of-concept projects, and dedicated one-to-one mentoring.
The programme also supports collaboration between technology innovators and industry adopters to solve business challenges. Participants will receive support from UK Digital Twin Centre industry partners and opportunities to connect with industry leaders, technology experts, and the wider digital twin ecosystem.
At the end of the programme, participants will take part in a showcase event to demonstrate their solutions to an audience of industry representatives, government, and investors.
The programme is open to pre-formed partnerships between a UK technology SME and an industry organisation seeking to adopt digital twin technologies.
The technology SME partner must be developing solutions in one or more of the enabling technology areas that support digital twins, including cyber-physical systems, data services, security and trustworthiness, immersive technologies and user experience, intelligence, and integration and interoperability.
The industry adopter or organisation partner must operate in one of the eligible sectors and be seeking to address a digital twin adoption challenge in automotive, agri-tech, maritime, aerospace including space, defence, clean energy, creative industries, or life sciences.
