The DeepTech Catalyst Quantum offers support to early-stage quantum technology companies to help them develop products and services and move towards commercial opportunities.
The key focus areas of the program include supporting early-stage quantum technology companies, developing products and services based on quantum technologies, quantum computing, imaging, sensing, networks, cryptography, simulation, MVP development, research and development support, business coaching, investment readiness, market validation, intellectual property advice, and connections with investors, funders, and stakeholders.
DeepTech Catalyst Quantum is designed to help early-stage quantum technology companies reduce risks in their route to market and achieve their commercial potential.
The program supports companies developing new products or services based on quantum technologies, including computing, imaging, sensing, networks, cryptography, and simulation.
Successful applicants will receive a support package that includes up to £50,000 in targeted MVP development funding and up to £10,000 in R&D vouchers to use with public sector partners.
The program also provides up to 50 hours of support through one-to-one business coaching, investment readiness guidance, market validation support, and intellectual property advice. Participants will also receive networking opportunities and introductions to investors, funders, stakeholders, and campus and cluster ecosystems.
DeepTech Catalyst Quantum is eligible for UK-registered companies that are new or existing companies less than 10 years old, majority owned by founders and employees, within the program scope, and have a viable business plan with a TRL level of 3–6.
