The Industrial Cybersecurity 2026 Program offers financial support to help Basque industrial companies strengthen the security of their products, industrial processes, and digital infrastructure against growing cyber threats.
The program focuses on increasing cybersecurity levels, protecting industrial processes and products, improving operational resilience, strengthening data and process security, supporting cybersecurity consulting and engineering, implementing cybersecurity hardware and software, promoting staff training and awareness, advancing compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations, and carrying out cybersecurity diagnosis, audits, assessments, and evaluations.
The program provides €14 million in funding through non-refundable grants covering up to 60% of eligible project costs, with a maximum grant of €100,000 per company each year. It is designed to help companies improve their cybersecurity capabilities with the support of specialized external providers.
Eligible applicants are industrial and related service companies of any size that have an operational center in the Basque Country. The cybersecurity project and investment must be carried out at that facility and have a direct impact on the company’s activities.
Supported projects include initial cybersecurity diagnosis and assessment, audits of existing controls and policies, evaluation of cybersecurity awareness and staff training, as well as comprehensive cybersecurity projects involving specialized consulting, engineering, and the implementation of hardware and software related to the project.
