The Due Diligence Fund is inviting applications to strengthen corporate human rights and environmental due diligence in global agricultural supply chains through targeted funding and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
The focus areas of this opportunity include strengthening corporate human rights and environmental due diligence practices, promoting innovative, risk-driven, and impact-oriented approaches, encouraging solutions that go beyond compliance, supporting scalable and gender-responsive initiatives, and improving sustainability standards across global agricultural supply chains.
The fund supports projects designed to improve accountability and responsible practices within agricultural production, processing, and distribution systems. It prioritizes initiatives that introduce new and practical methods for addressing human rights and environmental risks in supply chains while ensuring measurable and scalable impact.
Funding is available through two windows, with grants ranging from EUR 50,000 to EUR 124,999 under Funding Window A, and EUR 125,000 to EUR 250,000 under Funding Window B. Selected proposals may require co-financing from European-based companies depending on project size and scope.
Eligible applications must be submitted by partnerships that include at least one company based in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, along with at least one company based in a DAC-listed country and one non-profit organization with relevant subject expertise. The participating companies must be active in agricultural supply chains and may be required to contribute additional co-financing alongside public funding.
The initiative aims to foster collaborative solutions that strengthen responsible sourcing practices and improve environmental and human rights outcomes across global agricultural systems.
