About the Boost Camp
- Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll be guided through a curriculum that covers critical elements for business growth including evaluating your business vision and identity, developing strong marketing and sales tactics, and organizing your finances for improved financial health. You’ll also make meaningful connections with fellow visionaries and strengthen your network.
- After completing last year’s Boost Camp, 95% of participants reported that they feel more equipped to navigate challenges and opportunities in their industry and 75% said they feel more optimistic about their business growth potential.
Benefits
- Each of the 150 Recipients will receive access to a virtual business Boost Camp with an estimated value of $1,500 (USD).
- The 30 Grant Recipients will each receive a $10,000 (USD) unrestricted grant to be used for the benefit of the Grant Recipient’s business.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible to enter a business in the Program, you (“Officer”) must be all of the following as of the first day of the Program Period (defined below):
- an entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a business that meets the below business criteria;
- a legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico;
- eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE).
- To be eligible to participate in the program, the business (“Entrant”) must meet all of the following criteria as of the first day of the Program Period:
- Be a for-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico;
- Have a maximum of twenty-five (25) employees;
- Have generated less than $1M in 2023 gross annual revenue;
- Have a commitment to community;
- Must not have participated in a Hello Alice Boost Camp within the last 12 months at the start of the application; AND;
- Must be willing to participate in a virtual business Boost Camp starting in February 2025.
- The potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility by Sponsors, which may include completing associated documentation.
Evaluation Criteria and Recipient Selection
- Entries will be reviewed by Sponsors, FedEx and/or their designated agencies (“Panel”) based on the following criteria (“Grant Recipient Review Criteria”):
- Founder experience/expertise and commitment (35%)
- Demonstrated need for coaching and funds to achieve a business goal(s) or milestone(s) (35%)
- Demonstrated commitment to community and customers (30%)
- Sponsor will provide awards to Entrants whose Entries receive the highest cumulative score (the “Recipients”). The total number of recipients will be approximately 150, including around 30 grant recipients and 150 Boost Camp participants.
