The Women in Tech Bahrain, 7th edition is designed to support women entrepreneurs across Bahrain by helping them expand their businesses and strengthen their position within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The programme focuses on supporting women in growing and scaling their businesses, building connections within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing access to expert mentorship, unlocking funding opportunities for innovative ventures, and supporting technology-based or technology-enabled businesses that address social, economic, or environmental challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Selected participants may receive equity-free funding of up to USD 35,000 from Standard Chartered Bank. The programme also offers access to Standard Chartered’s global networks, tailored workshops designed to help businesses scale with confidence, and expert support across key areas ranging from business strategy to digital innovation.
To be eligible, applicants must be Bahraini citizens or residents, aged between 18 and 35 years old, and have at least one woman founder or co-founder. Businesses must be headquartered and operating in Bahrain, be aiming to grow, and be technology-based or technology-enabled while addressing a specific social, economic, or environmental issue aligned with the SDGs.
