Apply for SF Build the SF500 program for creating science-based startups to develop capabilities that allows to go from the state of an idea to the creation of a company with a global vision ready to receive investments.
In addition, they connect teams with other scientists and startups, business people, organizations, institutes and universities.
The program has a practical approach: during the 12 weeks, founders participate in work sessions on key topics for team building and to be able to move from science to a product with competitive advantage and global impact.
Throughout the entire process, teams have the opportunity to interact and learn about the experience of the network of mentors.
Companies that complete the SFBuild Program appear before the SF500 Investment Committee. If this is decided, the team receives an investment that will allow them to found their startup and continue developing their project.
Project Requirements
- Teams of scientists or entrepreneurs
- highly motivated and committed, who want to solve major problems of humanity, achieving high impact with their developments
- Projects with solid scientific foundations
- Associated with the life sciences and the verticals, and aligned with some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
- Early stage development level: TRL3
- That is, with a hypothesis validated experimentally in the laboratory-proof of concept.

- They generate a network of relationships that enhance startups and the ecosystem through agreements, a network of mentors, workshops, events, links with business profiles and various collaborations.
