Deadline Date: 31 December 2026
The Dubbing High-Quality Foreign Children’s Films supports Dutch film distributors in making high-quality foreign children’s films more accessible to young audiences through Dutch-language dubbing.
The scheme focuses on stimulating the supply and diversity of high-quality children’s films in film theaters, increasing access to international children’s films for young audiences, and reducing the financial risk for film distributors involved in releasing these films.
Under this scheme, film distributors can receive a financial contribution to support the dubbing of high-quality international children’s films into Dutch. The support is intended for films that will be released in Dutch film theaters and cinemas.
The maximum contribution available under this scheme is €15,000.
A film distributor can apply if it is a legal entity established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member state of the European Union, European Economic Area, or Switzerland for at least two years before applying. The distributor must also have continuously released high-quality children’s films and/or documentaries in Dutch cinemas and film theaters.
