Deadline Date: September 30, 2026
The Climate Resilience Awards for Business 2026 invite businesses worldwide to showcase innovative projects that strengthen resilience to climate change through practical action and measurable results.
The awards focus on recognizing business leadership in climate resilience and adaptation, establishing the current state of business resilience action, showcasing credible and measurable resilience outcomes, sharing lessons learned through high-quality case studies, accelerating resilience solutions across sectors and geographies, strengthening the business case for resilience, building climate-proof infrastructure, promoting water stewardship, safeguarding agriculture and food systems, and protecting people first.
The Climate Resilience Awards for Business, launched by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), return for a second edition following the successful launch of the initiative in 2025. The awards aim to increase the visibility of resilience initiatives that often receive less recognition than climate mitigation efforts, while highlighting projects that demonstrate real-world impact.
Applications are open to business organizations of all sizes, sectors, and geographic locations. Both organizations implementing resilience and adaptation measures within their operations and value chains, as well as businesses providing resilience-related products, services, technologies, financing, or advisory support, are eligible to apply. Solution providers are encouraged to demonstrate resilience outcomes through projects implemented with their clients.
To ensure fair competition, small and medium-sized enterprises compete separately from large companies and multinational organizations in each award category. Successful applicants will gain international recognition, increase the visibility of their projects, demonstrate measurable resilience outcomes, benchmark their work against leading practices, connect with a global network of resilience practitioners, and contribute to advancing climate resilience for businesses worldwide.
