Applicants are now invited to submit applications for Small Businesses to strengthen their capabilities and accelerate the creation and market introduction of innovative medical technology products.
The focus areas, include enhancing company knowledge through external expertise, facilitating the introduction of innovative medical technology products, strengthening regulatory and clinical knowledge within the company, and ensuring that the expertise gained remains within the company after the project concludes.
The funding available for each project is 200,000 SEK. This financial support is specifically intended to cover the hiring of an external person, rather than existing staff, to bring new skills and knowledge into the company.
Eligible applicants are small or micro enterprises with fewer than 50 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of less than EUR 10 million. The program is designed to help these companies build lasting capabilities that support innovation and long-term growth.
By participating, companies can access specialized expertise that strengthens their internal competencies, improves their regulatory or clinical knowledge, and increases their chances of successfully bringing medical technology innovations to market.
