The Vinnova is inviting applications to support for Swedish and Finnish actors to collaborate on developing innovative 6G solutions that are secure, energy-efficient, and resilient, helping build a sustainable digital society.
The focus areas, include strengthening innovation collaboration between Sweden and Finland, enhancing competitiveness and innovative capacity in both countries, developing knowledge, skills, and capacity for the digital society of the future, and creating mobile communication solutions that are robust, secure, energy-efficient, sustainable, and capable of withstanding and recovering from disruptions and attacks.
There is no limit on the funding a project can request, but Vinnova expects to finance a select number of projects. The agency can provide up to 90 percent of the project’s total eligible costs, with a total budget of SEK 22 million allocated for this call. Projects should be submitted by consortia consisting of at least one Swedish and one Finnish actor, including companies, universities, and research institutes. Vinnova only finances Swedish participants, while Finnish partners can seek funding through Business Finland.
