The India-Israel Foundation for Research and Development (I4F) invites groundbreaking proposals to foster technological cooperation between Israeli and Indian companies in the field of Smart Mobility.
The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes include autonomous mobility, maritime mobility, railroad technology, smart aviation, public transit technology and traffic management, electric vehicles and battery technology, fostering joint R&D projects between companies and research institutions from both countries, advancing projects from TRL 3-4 up to pilot phase TRL 7-8, achieving significant technological breakthroughs, and creating a high impact in the field through collaboration between industry and academia.
Under this program, proposals must involve a minimum of four participants, including at least one company and one research institution from each country. Funding can reach up to US$ 5,000,000 per project or 66% of the total qualified project cost, whichever is lower, with a maximum project duration of 3 years. Projects are evaluated based on high innovation and novelty, potential for commercialization success, technical and financial capabilities, marketing and commercialization potential, and complementarity between the participating countries and companies.
Eligible participants include Indian and Israeli companies as project leads, with academic partners from both countries able to participate as subcontractors for up to 30% of the total project budget. This strategic program encourages groundbreaking projects that leverage joint expertise to drive technological advancement in smart mobility.
