Selected participants take part in a one-week residential bootcamp led by expert trainers, where they refine business models and improve financial and operational skills. This is followed by a coaching phase of approximately 4.5 months focused on accelerating revenue growth, improving market access, and enhancing job creation potential.
The programme also provides seed grants to outstanding founders to support business expansion, prototype development, operational improvements, and revenue-generating activities. These grants are intended to help businesses transition to the next stage of growth.
The initiative focuses on multiple categories within the green and circular economy, including renewable energy solutions, sustainable agriculture, agro-processing, recycling and upcycling, sustainable packaging, clean cooking technologies, eco-construction, sustainable fashion, water and sanitation solutions, and eco-tourism enterprises.
Eligibility is open to youth aged 18 to 35 years operating green or circular economy businesses in specified regions, including the Kampala Metropolitan region, Busoga Sub-region, and West Nile Sub-region. Applicants must have a prototype, early traction, or proof of concept and must be willing to participate in bootcamps, coaching sessions, and financial compliance processes.
