Apply for the SIA Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program and take your idea to the next level.
The incubation provides you with the resources and support you need to turn your idea into a successful venture. Since the places are limited, they ask everyone who wants to submit an application. This allows the expert jury to select the most promising ideas based on impact potential, degree of innovation, feasibility and team capacity.
Opportunities
Successful applicants will have access to a range of opportunities including:
- Mentoring and support in validating your business and impact models, prototyping your idea, generating first followers and customers.
- A chance to win a Social Impact Award that includes funding, recognition and a ticket to the annual SIA Summit.
- Access to the international alumni community of over 1,000 social entrepreneurs from over 25 countries.
Eligibility Criteria
By maintaining appropriate eligibility criteria, they can fulfill the mission to help young people take their first steps in the world of social entrepreneurship. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- To ensure that the program is youth-oriented, applicants and their key team members must be between 15 and 30 years of age.
- They accept both unrealized ideas and ideas that are in the early stages of implementation. However, ideas in the early stages of implementation can only be submitted if the project was created after January 1 of the previous year.
- Applicant projects must not have received significant public funding prior to submitting their application. The latter is defined as official grants from external sources exceeding €3,000 (eg angel investments, grants, prize money, etc.).
- The applicant must not have participated in the incubation of SIA with the same idea with which he applied, and must not have won the Social Impact Award in previous years.
