Apply Now: Urban Mobility Incubator Program 2026

Deadline Date: August 04, 2026

The Urban Mobility Incubator Autumn 2026 is inviting applications to support mobility startups in developing prototypes, strengthening business capabilities, and expanding their access to European markets.

The programme focuses on Public Transport & Traffic Management including smarter traffic signal systems, public transport priority solutions, and real-time passenger information; Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery covering urban freight consolidation, micro-hub solutions, parcel lockers, and alternative delivery vehicles such as cargo bikes and cargo scooters; Energy & Electric Charging with compact EV charging solutions and improved planning of charging locations; Drones, 5G & Autonomous Mobility including drone identification systems, permit awareness platforms, data transmission and processing, and machine vision applications for infrastructure and environmental monitoring; Citizen Engagement & Active Mobility focusing on citizen reporting of infringements and behaviour change solutions that promote walking, cycling, and public transport use; and Circular Urban Infrastructure & Climate Resilience involving circular economy approaches for transport materials and sustainable reuse of infrastructure components such as asphalt, tyres, sleepers, and batteries.

The Urban Mobility Incubator is structured as an eight-week programme tailored for mobility startups, aiming to help participants move their solutions from early-stage development to real-world deployment in urban environments.

The programme offers a total financial pool of 13,000 EUR, with individual teams eligible to receive up to 2,600 EUR each to support prototyping and piloting activities. The programme also includes personalized mentoring, individual coaching, workshops led by startup consultants, and a tailored development plan designed to support each startup over the duration of the incubator. In addition, selected startups are supported in scaling their products to the European Union level through access to a broader city and innovation network.

The initiative is driven by the need to address increasing urban mobility demands and reduce transport-related environmental impact, as urban mobility contributes significantly to CO2 emissions and other pollutants within transport systems. By supporting innovation in mobility solutions, the programme aims to contribute to more efficient, sustainable, and livable cities while supporting broader climate objectives.
