The Climate Tech Catalyst – Vietnam and Beyond is a flagship acceleration programme supporting climate-tech startups and SMEs to scale sustainable solutions and expand market opportunities across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The focus areas include sustainable agriculture, food systems, climate resilience, circular economy solutions, waste management technologies, renewable energy, clean transport, climate finance, investment readiness, ecosystem partnerships, and low-carbon economic development.
The programme is structured across two chapters covering 2026 and 2027 to support climate-tech startups and SMEs from early validation stages to growth and Series A/B readiness. The 2026 cohort focuses on agriculture and circular economy solutions, while the 2027 cohort focuses on renewable energy and clean transport solutions.
Led by Vietnam-Korea ecosystem partners, the programme serves as a two-way platform supporting Vietnamese ventures as well as Korean and global climate-tech companies seeking to expand into Vietnam and wider Southeast Asian markets in collaboration with an intergovernmental organization.
The initiative aims to bridge innovation with market demand by supporting scalable climate solutions that contribute to Vietnam’s transition toward a sustainable and low-carbon economy. It also addresses challenges faced by climate-tech startups, including long validation cycles, capital intensity, and limited access to investors and strategic partners.
The programme offers equity-free support and provides participants with investment and capital access, tailored acceleration support, global market access across Vietnam, Korea, and other regions, as well as ecosystem and strategic partnership opportunities.
A total prize pool of USD 120,000 will be distributed across two focus areas. The Agriculture Track will receive USD 60,000, while the Circular Economy and Waste Management Track will also receive USD 60,000. Awards will be presented during Demo Day based on evaluations by investors, industry experts, and ecosystem stakeholders.
The programme is open to climate-tech startups and SMEs operating in agriculture or circular economy and waste management sectors. Eligible applicants include ventures based in Vietnam or planning to enter the Vietnamese market through local partnerships or expansion strategies.
Applicants should be at MVP, pilot, or growth stage, ranging from pre-seed to Series B, and demonstrate clear climate or environmental impact along with commitment to active participation in programme activities.
