Deadline Date: August 28, 2026
The ELI Grant is inviting applications to support innovative solutions that improve the lives of persons with disabilities and their caregivers in Singapore.
The 2026 grant theme is Community Participation and Engagement. The challenge focuses on helping persons with disabilities live independently and age in place with comfort, safety, and connection through better planning, living accommodations, and community support. Priority areas include developing customised long-term care with transition support, providing at-home support for independent living, and strengthening people support systems within the community.
The ELI Grant is Singapore’s dedicated grant for disability innovation and is funded by Tote Board and managed by SG Enable. It supports innovative, evidence-based solutions that address underserved needs and improve outcomes for persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
Beyond funding, the grant brings together non-profits, social enterprises, innovators, and user groups to encourage collaboration, strengthen project design, and build capability through shared knowledge and sector insights. It also supports impact measurement to help generate insights for future project scaling and grant development.
Projects are assessed by an independent Evaluation Panel based on their merits and projected impact. Eligible projects must have a duration of at least one year and no more than two years. Applicants are expected to provide co-funding or secure additional funding for costs not covered by the grant. The ELI Grant covers between 50% and 90% of eligible project expenses, with a minimum grant value of $80,000.
The grant is open to registered Social Service Agencies, Social Enterprises registered under the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE), Institutes of Higher Learning, Research Institutes, Non-Private Hospitals, and Commercial Entities. Commercial Entities must partner with at least one user group from the local disability community to be eligible.
