Applications are now open for Aalto Creatives Pre-incubator Program to support creative industry students, researchers, and practitioners in developing and launching their business ideas across all creative sectors.
The Aalto Creatives pre-incubator program offers comprehensive support through Aalto Startup Center’s business advisory services. Participants will develop their business ideas, connect with potential industry partners, iterate their business plans, identify potential customers, and strategize on how to attract them. Special emphasis is placed on refining pitching skills to prepare for successful investor presentations.

The program consists of six modules that cover the fundamentals of Asset Development, Solution Development, and Business Development. Each module includes workshop days and lectures with selected keynote speakers as well as individual coaching. Coaching sessions and workshops are held at Aalto University’s campus in Otaniemi, Espoo.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Aalto Creatives pre-incubator program is looking for applicants with a background in the creative industries. Applications are welcomed from individuals or teams with a business idea rooted in any sector of the creative industries.
- Previous business experience is not required. The selection process evaluates the business idea’s potential for further development, the solution it provides, and how it shapes a sustainable future.
- They will accept 10 to 15 teams or a maximum of 30 participants for each round of the pre-incubator program.
- Please note, applicants must be residents of the Helsinki capital region. The program is not available in remote or hybrid mode and applicants are required to participate in weekly workshops taking place on Aalto University campus in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland.
