The Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), in partnership with Excelium Technologies under its CSR Grant, has launched this program to support early-stage startups.
The Excelium-SINE DeepTech Innovation Grant Program offers to support early-stage DeepTech startups in India through grant funding for product development and validation. The grant is designed for startups that have reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 or above and are working on product development and validation.
The focus areas of the program include supporting early-stage DeepTech startups at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and above, enabling milestone-based product development and validation, providing institutional, technical, and ecosystem support, facilitating engagement with investors and ecosystem stakeholders, and supporting solutions and products in the DeepTech TRL 4+ category.
The program offers funding support of up to INR 20 lakh for a tenure of six months to help eligible startups achieve key development milestones.
To be eligible, applicants must be registered in India as a Private Limited company with more than 51% shareholding held by Indian citizens. The startup must also be registered with DPIIT, have a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4 or above, work on a solution or product within the specified focus area, and have a clear roadmap for commercialisation.
