Deadline Date: June 30, 2026
The EBRD Star Venture programme is designed to support high-potential startups through structured workshops, business advisory, digital tools, and global networking opportunities to accelerate growth and development.
The EBRD Star Venture programme supports selected startups over a 24-month period through structured training, advisory services, and access to global business networks. Applications are currently open for startups in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin, and Croatia, with different deadlines for each cohort.
Startups from Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Benin must apply by June 11th, 2026, while startups from Croatia have a deadline of June 30th, 2026. Shortlisted applicants are invited to pitch to an international panel of experts and investors during the selection process.
The programme begins with one-to-one strategy workshops delivered over five online sessions in partnership with the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing. These sessions help startups identify growth opportunities, challenges, and priority areas for advisory support.
Participants receive customised business advisory services designed to address their specific needs. Support is provided across areas such as sales, marketing, customer segmentation, operations design, product development, technology integration, and financial planning.
The programme also provides digital perks through partnerships with leading global technology providers. Startups can access AWS credits worth $5,000 and Microsoft Azure credits worth up to $150,000, along with additional technical and infrastructure support.
In addition, startups gain access to a global network of investors, mentors, and industry experts. This includes curated introductions, participation in startup events, and engagement with an international alumni community, along with access to specialised sector expertise through corporate partnerships.
