The City of Port St. Lucie has launched a Commercial Façade Improvement Grant Program, which will provide funding to assist business owners in the restoration, renovation or improvement of commercial façades. Funding is provided through a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
The program provides financial assistance to property owners of commercial buildings, or tenants, to improve the appearance of their storefronts. This can help business owners enhance the visual appeal in a commercial district, stimulating economic activity and attracting customers by improving the overall aesthetics of the area.
Funding Information
- Business owners can receive up to $10,000 through a matching grant, with the program paying 50% of the improvement costs and the business owners paying the other 50%.
Eligibility Criteria
- Businesses must be located within the City’s official CDBC Census Tracts to be eligible for funding.
