Deadline: 3 January 2025
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is requesting applications for its Business Activation Grants to support local businesses and venues to activate their space, in alignment with select large-scale Council events delivered across the year.
Now in its third year, Dockside Festival returns in a two-day community celebration to highlight the unique culture, heritage and natural environment of Port Adelaide.
Dockside will celebrate the Port River’s spirit across a playful program of interactive workshops, water sports, delicious street food, live music and creative installations that showcase the area’s thriving arts scene and natural environment. From family-friendly activities to living history exhibits and local makers, Dockside Festival offers something for everyone, making it the perfect celebration of the Port, the river, and its people.
The event footprint for 2025 will extend along the water frontage of Hart’s Mill, down Mundy Street, and framed by Hart Street to the south. Within the wider precinct, Dockside will create opportunities for visitors to explore local attractions and heritage trails including the Maritime, Railway and Aviation Museums and Clipper Ship, and local eateries, traders and galleries. Grants are available to applications that:
- Activate local places and spaces with creative programming, supporting the development of their region as a destination for arts and culture
