The Marketing Strategy Grant Scheme is seeking applications to support micro and small enterprises by funding external services for the development of marketing strategies that improve competitiveness and business efficiency.
The key focus areas, of this scheme include support for external marketing strategy services, enhancement of business competitiveness and efficiency, alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives, promotion of entrepreneurship and smart economic transformation, and support for sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs under Policy Objective 1.
This scheme is intended to assist micro and small enterprises that may lack the internal resources and expertise required to develop effective marketing strategies. It provides non-repayable grants to help enterprises outsource professional services for the preparation of structured marketing plans.
A marketing strategy under this scheme includes plans and actions related to promoting the business and its products or services in a way that supports the enterprise’s goals and broader business objectives.
The initiative operates under Policy Objective 1 of the SFC2021 Programme 2021–2027, which focuses on promoting entrepreneurship, supporting innovative economic transformation, and strengthening regional ICT connectivity. It also contributes to the specific objective of enhancing sustainable growth, competitiveness, and job creation in SMEs through productive investments.
The scheme will remain operational until 31st December 2026, subject to the availability of funds. The initial allocated budget for the scheme is €500,000.
The maximum grant value available under this scheme is €10,000.
The scheme is open to micro and small enterprises engaged in economic activity, regardless of legal form, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. Enterprises without legal personality must be registered under the Second Schedule of the Civil Code.
