This program supports entrepreneurs who are experiencing sudden and critical challenges that threaten the stability or survival of their businesses. It emphasizes the importance of timely intervention to help businesses recover and continue operating sustainably.
Applicants are expected to present a clear and realistic plan for how the funding will be used, including a structured breakdown of priorities and a direct connection between the use of funds and expected outcomes.
A strong emphasis is placed on community impact, particularly businesses that serve underserved populations, address social challenges, or engage in meaningful partnerships that benefit vulnerable groups.
The program also evaluates the background of the founder and the company, focusing on experience, skills, resilience, and demonstrated ability to recover from setbacks and effectively utilize financial support.
The grant offers a $1,000 grand prize along with two runner-up awards of $500 each, providing flexible support intended to stabilize operations and strengthen long-term viability.
