The Vruksh Ecosystem is now inviting applications for their Social Impact Pitch Competition Misfits Global.
The Misfits Initiative is the community arm of Vruksh Ecosystem Foundation, a non-profit social enterprise built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. They identify leaders who stand to achieve greater social impact with mentorship, leadership coaching and access to capital.
The Misfits is focused on providing a stage for Social Impact Change-makers, be it start-ups, non-profits or innovators who are building solutions (tech or non-tech) that can improve the quality of Life in their respective regions.
The Misfits Initiative started as an online pitch event across 15 cities that creates a platform for social entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers to showcase, connect and expand their horizons. They realized that building a community is essential to keep the momentum going. A community platform to engage all stakeholders, change makers and entrepreneurs was launched in December 2020.
Misfits aims to become a Global platform for Social Entrepreneurship, starting with South Asia.
What they Provide?
- The goal is to enable this philosophy through interaction between private, commercial, government and independent players in each focus domain to build a cohesive network of entities working towards a common goal.
- The key activities that are performed under this umbrella network are:
- Hybrid-Learning Modules for Entrepreneurship.
- Specialized Programs for E-Cells and Business Incubators.
- Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) Model for Innovation Infra.
- Startup Facilitation through Mentors & Partners.
- Govt-led Initiatives Execution.
- Global Startup Exchange and Promotion.

- Located in India, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka.
- Incorporated or not.
- Idea, prototype, users or paying users stage.
- Have raised funding or not.
- Currently raising or not raising funds.
- Have revenue or not.
