The COEP’s BHAU Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership is inviting applications to support social entrepreneurs and innovators working on sustainable solutions for society and the environment.
The summit focuses on Health care, Agriculture, Environment, Clean Tech, Waste to Wealth, Grassroots Innovations, Sustainable Development, and SDG-aligned Innovations, with the objective of helping social entrepreneurs and innovators develop sustainable businesses with social impact.
COEP’s Bhau Institute is a startup incubator supported by the DST, Government of India, and MSINS, Government of Maharashtra. The institute has provided incubation support to more than 380 startups, facilitated the creation of over 1500 jobs, and helped generate more than 141 intellectual properties. It has also implemented funding schemes including Startup India Seed Fund, DST NIDHI–Prayas & EIR, NIDHI SSP, and corporate CSR funds, while supporting the student-led social innovation initiative i2i.
The Social Innovation Summit invites social entrepreneurs, innovators, and startups working in the focus key areas to participate in the initiative. Applications are open for innovations at the Prototype, MVP, and Commercialization stages.
Under the Dr. Gauri Shah Best Ideation Grant, the top three innovators will receive ₹50,000 each along with incubation and mentorship support at COEP’s Bhau Institute, Pune.
The shortlisted top 10 teams will receive certificates and mementos in recognition of their innovations.
