Nominations open for STREETS Awards

Deadline Date: August 15, 2026

The STREETS Awards recognizes outstanding social enterprises and initiatives with notable social impact in the global hospitality and tourism sector.

The awards support hospitality and tourism initiatives, youth development in tourism, social impact, sustainability, mentorship, transparent financial practices, storytelling development, networking, and industry collaboration.

The program recognizes ventures that demonstrate measurable social impact and sustainability within the hospitality and tourism sector. Open to emerging and early-stage organizations up to five years old, the initiative encourages applications from social enterprises, mission-driven businesses, non-profits, and NGOs working to create positive change, particularly through youth-focused initiatives.

Applicants can compete for several funding opportunities through the awards program. The STREETS Social Enterprise Award for Hospitality and Tourism offers $10,000 for the winner and $2,500 for an honorable mention. The Alan Spanier Impact Award for Youth Development in Tourism also provides $10,000 for the winner and $2,500 for an honorable mention. In addition, the Alan Spanier Impact Award for Emerging Hospitality and Tourism Initiatives offers $5,000.

Beyond financial support, the STREETS Awards provide a mentoring-based application process designed to help changemakers strengthen their storytelling, communicate impact more effectively, and present transparent financial information.

Every applicant receives value from the process through recognition, visibility, mentorship opportunities, or constructive feedback that can support the future development of their venture. The program also offers participants opportunities for global recognition, networking, and engagement with a distinguished panel of judges and industry professionals from the hospitality and tourism sectors.
